WEATHER WATCH! The Warrenton area is expected to get hit with freezing rain, sleet and/or perhaps snow, beginning Saturday evening, January 24, and these conditions are reported to be lasting through the day on Sunday and into the night. The decision has been made to cancel Morning Worship for Sunday, January 25. Please stay safe and warm.
ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL MEETING: On Sunday, February 1, the Administrative Council will have its first meeting of the year, following Morning Worship, in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will be provided. All are welcome to attend the meeting, but church officers and committee chairs are especially needed at the meeting, as we plan for the year.
CONFERENCE TRAINING SESSIONS: Our annual conference is offering committee training by zoom meetings. Listed below are the meeting schedules. Mary Hunter is working on plans for zoom meetings at the church, if needed, but they can also be done from home. You will need to register for the zoom meetings and the conference will send the links for the meetings. If you cannot make the meetings on that date, in early February they will send us the recordings that we can watch, but would not be able to interact with our questions. Contact Ray Gooch if you have questions.

There will be a study guide in the narthex for the season. All you need is a Bible and the study guide. All are welcome to join on any and all Sundays you are available.
OUT WITH THE OLD: As you remove and pack up your Christmas decorations, please do not discard wreath forms! If you have no other use for them, you may return them to the church, to Mary Hunter or to Elaine Coleman, either as they are or “undressed,” and we will recycle them next year. We can reuse the pins too, if you dry them and place them in an airtight container. Please pass this information along to others in the community who purchased wreaths. Thanks!
NOTE CARDS AVAILABLE: Wesley Memorial note cards have been printed and are available in packages of 5 for $5. Call or text Elaine Coleman, 252-425-5616, if you are interested in purchasing.
PLASTIC BAGS: Please remember to bring your unwanted plastic grocery bags to the church to be passed along to Loaves and Fishes. They will make great use of all that we provide! There is a collection box in the back entrance by the church office. Thanks!
